Commissioned to create the visual brand of The Team Up, a winner-takes-all competitive artist battle. Inspired by varsity jackets and the cooperative spirit of college sports, the colourways and fonts help share that vision harkening to a letterman jacket and team penants on the walls. The logo takes it's cue from Kendrick Lamar's Big Steppers Tour, with a mosaic of fonts and styles, held together as a patch. Originally designed for the flyers alone, the stitching became part of the logo.
As part of my creative direction for the event, I designed flags for each team that became a part of the stage production. See below for some process pictures and behind-the-scenes of the brand and asset creation. 
As part of my creative direction for the event, I designed flags for each team that became a part of the stage production.  With the help of good friend Ché Ruben Hernandez, we were able to add to the excitement of the competitive arts event.
To continue the branding through the promotion into the actual event, I created overlays for each of the performances on different platforms. On Instagram, I wanted to highlight the sponsors while being conscious of screen space and how most broadcasts appear on the platform when cross-delivered from YouTube.
