When I joined Qumu in Februaru 2020, I took a snapshot of our YouTube presence and waited for the right moment. As our marketing team began ramping up SEO and SEM efforts, I knew I had an ace in the hole that could help deliver results. From my experience over the last 10 years in video marketing, I know the power of YouTube when it comes to keyword ranking. We set our aim on "smart video" and kicked the content strategy into high gear.

Mid-way through a few brand video exercises, the Creative Services Director was let go. I was left with a handful of half-baked ideas and was tasked to turn them around. With the right stock clips, anything is possible. I wrote the copy and turned these concepts into fun, quirky branding assets.
Hand-in-hand with the technical how-to videos and the brand marketing content, I was busy at work sharing our internal expertise. In a series we named "Qumu Gurus," I interviewed core Executive Leadership Team members and partners to share bite-sized know-how around smart video and the benefits it brings to comms and marketing.
I created the series logo and the branding elements such as the thumbnails and lower-thirds to match.
